AUTOBIOGRAPHY
(Or: In Which I Am a Braggart)
I’ve been the sole author of Idisyncratic Protectional Field, IPF², The New H, and now nerdology. I’ve been an avid writer for my entire life, though I wouldn’t say any of my writing has been worth reading until after about 2006 or so; even then, it’s improved vastly since.
I have come into acquisition of the title of “editor” at OSNews, and, despite the fact that I’ll have to halt in my occupation for two years, I hope to continue to be an editor for OSNews for some years to come as well as a published author as soon as comfortably possible.
I have written dozens of short stories and poems (I don’t like poems much, though), and officially one completed full-length story (49,000 words) entitledWars of the Underground, though it wasn’t publish-worthy and never will be. I am currently actively writing The Imaginations and non-actively writing The Gregorian Experiment along with another untitled story.
In 2008, I was elected treasurer for West Jordan High School’s choir department, and have served faithfully, transforming what used to be a paper-and-pencil/Excel nobody-knows-how-much-he-or-she-owes regime into a multifaceted database with information on demand, at ease, using primarily Microsoft Access and Word 2007, also putting the ending balance higher than it has ever been in history. After graduating, I have continued to help the treasurers through the years as much as I could to make sure that the choir department financials and technicals were the best in the country.
In 2008-2009, I also participated in West Jordan High School’s Madrigals, which was an unforgettable experience. The people in that group are people I will never forget, nor will I forget the deep, magical, spiritual experiences we shared while sharing our music.
I can’t say much for humanity, and I hope daily for the world’s ignominious end though it’s a very beautiful place in terms of nature. I have weathered storms of life unimaginable by some, which seem as minute gusts of wind when compared to many others’. I have come through thick, thin, and vacuum to survive through today and offer what little goodness (or obnoxiousness) I can to the world at large.
