There is nothing worse than running over your own banannas.

By Jordan Spencer Cunningham on August 2, 2010.

Just last weekend, I felt to go online and search out whatever I could find about Robert Aveson, an anscestor of mine who was converted to Mormonism in England and made his escape (he was an indentured printer’s apprentice at the time, and he legally had to stay with his mentor for seven years) across the ocean and survived the wintry mountains and plains to establish himself in Salt Lake City. Coincidentally (or not…), my brother texted me later that day and asked if I’d be interested in compiling a book containing any and all of the information we could find on Robert Aveson (journals, memoirs, biographies, autobiographies, articles, etcetera) to distribute to any of his descendants who wanted it.

So it begins. I don’t know that I’ll be able to finish this particular project before my mission, but I’ll definitely give it a go. I plan to make a hardcover edition and also make it available for Kindle, iBooks, and on Google Books.

Have something to say?
